Autumn brings a new round of planting to get you through winter. In our Edible Forest, we are proactive in planting both perennial plants; that will supply us with long lasting produce for years to come; and anneals for short term product supply. As the weather is still quite warm, perhaps try getting some winter crop seeds sown into punnets.
Our suggested planting
- Legumes (beans, peas, snow peas etc).
- Brassicas (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower etc).
- Alliums (onions, leeks, spring onions, radish, fennel, garlic etc).
- Cucurbits (cucumber, pumpkin, etc).
- Umbellifer (carrots, parsley coriander, parsnip, celery, dill etc.).
